Another batch of our Antares imperial stout, deep and dark as the outer space, silky, thick and soft, named after the brightest star in the Scorpius constellation. Complex and rich malt base with a hint of chocolate fudge, coffee and praline is enhanced with a note of vanilla and white Dominican rum.

Appearance: opaque deep brown to black with a small beige head of good retention. Aroma: Toasted malts, slightly roasted. Chocolate, vinous, salty. Taste: Moderately sweet, low to light bitterness. Toasted malts, slightly roasted. Chocolate, vinous, salty. Lacking hopping. Mouth feel: Medium plus body, soft to average carbonation. Overall: It wasn't expensive, so not bad.

Bottle 33 cl. Dark brown, good coffee foam. Aroma: a bit harsh, raisins with sulfur, caramel, coffee, chocolate, waffles, nuts, a little bit of vanilla and coffee. Taste: sweetish, caramel, chocolate, coconut, a little wood and sulfur, nuts, bitter finish.
