First ratingDraught at Bishops Avenyn, Göteborg. May 26, 2010Clear copper to brown color, small off-white head. A bit fruity hoppy taste at first, some malty caramel as well, turns into a bitter finish. Medium mouthfeel, high bitterness. Scent is a tad bit malty sweet caramel, with soft hints of chocolate. More dominant is the fruity, citrus like hoppiness.7/3/6/4/12=3.2RerateBottle at Beefeater Inn, Göteborg, on April 28, 2012Clear copper color, medium sized tan head. (Bottle, Bishop’s Arms Folkungagatan, Stockholm, 2 May 2010) Dark amber colour with foamy, off-white head. Hoppy, malty nose with caramel and citrus (orange peel, grapefruit). Malty, hoppy taste with notes of caramel, orange peel and a generous citrussy bitterness in the finish. Medium body, fairly dry. Clean and fresh, well balanced and tasty.

12oz bottle pours copper with weak off white head. The aroma is malts, a dash of caramel and then vague hoppiness in the background. The taste has some mild vague hop bitterness bite before modest levels of sweet malts surface followed by a thin layer of drying roasted malts. The hops seem to be grapefruit bitterness to lemon acidity. I get a decent level of hop bitterness supported by little or no late addition to the boil hop flavor.

Location: 12 oz bottle from Total Wine - Alpharetta, 2/16/10

Aroma: Citrus hops along with some crystal and caramel malts, plus some floral and earthy notes
Appearance: Clear amber color with a lasting, frothy beige head
Flavor: Taste is fairly light, light-medium hop presence, light sweetness
Palate: Light bodied and lively carbonated, with a relatively dry finish
Overall Impression: This beer is decent overall. Not the most exciting beer, but certainly drinkable. Wouldn't call this one of the better IPAs out there, but it is worth a taste. Not a hop bomb, more of a leans a little toward the subtle-hopped British style then the hop-bomb American style, though there is clearly some bitter presence, particularly in the finish.

Bottle: Pours a dark copper with a finger of creamy sand colored head. Fairly heavy malt aroma with a lighter citrus hop presence. Faint dry florals. Tastes of florals, rye, earthiness, and even a bit bready. Dry, floral, and plenty of malts, yet not much sweetness here.

12 ounce bottle from Bruisin Ales in Asheville. Pours a reddish copper with a 2-finger head. Good retention and decent lacing. Leafy, vegetal and citrus hop aroma. Taste is vegetal, metallic hop notes with some soapiness. Medium bodied.

Bottle thanks to suttree. Sent a photo in. Pours a clear amber with a largish, off-white head. Aroma of spicey hops, rotting fruits, and toffee. Taste is rotten fruits, hops and a light toasty malt. Water like mouthfeel. Not super enjoyable.

Light copper color with a decent head. The aroma is not very assertive, some hops but not what I expect froma good fresh IPA. The flavor is a little out of balance and finishes weak but bitter.
