2011-02-05, bottle at Bishop’s Arms, Malmö, 7-4-7-4-15=37
Dark brown color, almost black; small head. Nice aroma of citrusy hops, hop resins, roasted malt. Correct body strength, good caramel and chocolate flavor, some sweetness; strong bitterness. Very good.
2010-05-17, draught at Nya Tröls, Malmö, 7-4-6-2-12=31
Black color; creamy beige head. Mild aroma, but nice, with roasted malts, coffee, cream, light hops. Dry mouthfeel; monotonic flavor: heavily roasted malts, burnt wood. Correct bitterness, moslty deriving from the black malt. A common Stout, not necessarly bad, but quite boring.

Bottled. A deep red beer with a thin brown head. The aroma has notes of malt, caramel, and hops. The flavor is sweet with notes notes of roasted malt and caramel, leading to a dry and slightly woody finish. The body is light.

Bottle 35,5 cl. Pours an opaque black with a small light brown head. Sweetish hard roasted malt in the nose, a little licorice all-sorts as well and a whiff of peated malt. Medium-bodied, hard roasted malts, some dried fruit, a little vanilla and again a whiff of smoke. Finishes dry. Nice. 050211

Nice big black pour in the glass from a bottle.Generally friendly aroma of porter but there is some alky volatility in the olfactory. Chocolate malts and a tad of sourness make this nice. Goes down really easy, must be that wall I painted today. Some burnt bitter notes set in after a while. Creamy interesting CO2, fer sure. Yes, quite nice. Not bad but of coarse mild porter is my thing. Most of the time it does not show its 6% alky content. Yeah, that mildly tart or sour backgroiund does wonders for this porter.

Bottled@Bishops Arms Vasagatan, Stockholm. Quite much pitch black colour, small head. Flavour and aroma are both liquorice, some slight alcoholic sweetness, mild ashes, coffee and toffee. Once it warms up it feels lots emptier in the palate.
