Bright copper pour, medium white head. Nice aroma of citrus zest, oranges, and some solid pine resin. Good mouth feel, and carb. The finish is where this goes off the rails. It finishes with a medium bitterness and a super strange plastic/rubber flavour. Like opening up a new tire tube from its box. It just takes over and dominates. Couldnt finish it.

On draught at the Waldorf Astoria in Park City while escaping the smoke of the Bay. Citrus with overt malt retained. Turbid yellow with white, medium head that caps throughout. They could ratchet up the hops a bit and attenuate out more sugars, but still nice.

Thanks Craig (Sledeutah).
Poured into a tulip, the appearance was a soft burnt orange almost hazy sort of rugged brown color with a thin white foamy head that dissipated at a nice pace. Soft glazed remnants of a head bleed into a messy lace.
The aroma leans piney sharp bitter resinous behavior. Just really grips my nose hard and pulls in the sharpness cleanly with a touch of soft malt.
The flavor leans to the sharp piney bitter resin and clings to a sly malt, but low and smooth. Piney aftertaste with a dry finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with the crisp malts moving smoothly along my tongue. Semi-sticky palatable bitter resin hits my tongue. Sipping to sessionable in between sort of feel.
Overall, quite a different DIPA for me, but then again living in Vermont, our DIPA’s taste nothing like this. Would this be a Utah DIPA? Is there such thing? But this is quite good and would love to have again if given the chance.

Bottle from the Layton state store. Clear golden beer with medium body and good sized head at first. Aroma is mainly of pine, the taste has both grapefruit and pine hops notes. The finish is intense piney hops.
