Appearance: Opaque deep brown, small ivory-coloured head of medium retention. Aroma: toasted and roasted malts, caramel, butter cookies, dark chocolate, vinous hints. Taste: Rather sweet at start. Toast, cookies, chocolate, vinous notes. Brandy. Hoppy ending. Quite a bit of hop. Mouth feel: Medium plus body. Soft carbonation. Bottom line: A well made imperial porter.

Can. Dark brown, yellowish foam. Aroma: very bready, dark malts, caramel, chocolate, wine, dried fruit. Sweet taste, poppy seed pie, cocoa and chocolate, wine, prunes, cheap port wine, good imperial porter.
