Appearance: opaque deep brown with a one finger tall beige head of medium retention. Aroma: toasted and roasted malt, vinous notes, dried fruit, burnt pie crust. Taste: light sweet, malty. Toast, dried fruit, vinous notes, rye bread, hop. Warming alcohol. Light ending bitterness. Mouth feel: medium body, average to lively carbonation. Summary: quite fair.
