Appearance: foggy deep brown with a small beige head of medium retention. Aroma: dark malts, toffee, bourbon,, vanilla, oak tannins. Taste: powerful, malty, fruity, estery, oaky. Vanilla, bourbon, tannins. Warming alcohol. Medium sweet, light bitter. Mouth feel: full body, appropriate carbonation. Summary: great stuff.

Bottle 375 ml #002/400. Pleasant looking barleywine. Rich aroma: sweet malt base + sweet vanilla of bourbon, candied fruits, dried fruits, white port, raisins, pleasant shades of oak, caramel and other goodies. Taste is a little more than wonderful, sweet malt with vanilla, bourbon and milk toffee, white port, caramel, orange jam, bitter finish (hops and oak), powerful and very outstanding.
