0.5L PET growler. Appearance: misty deep brown with a small ivory-coloured head of mediocre retention. Aroma: candied sugar, perfume, caramel and toast, dried figs and dates, spicy yeast, funky hints. Taste: moderately sweet, rich malts, higher spirits, figs, dates and prunes, candy, spicy yeast, warming alcohol, light to medium herbal hop bitterness. Palate: medium to full body, soft carbonation. Overall: tasty and style-fitting. Undercarbonated, probably because of too much foam while running from tap. Potentially very good.
