Pours opaque deep brown with a present and well-lacing head of beige colour. Nose: toasted and roasted malts, coffee, cream, vinous notes. Medium to full body. Extremely smooth on palate. Taste: rich maltiness, roast, coffee with cream, distant fruity esters. Well-hidden alcohol. Low bitterness. Rather good in general. Could use some more hopping for better balance.

Tap. Dark brown. Aroma: sweet and caramel, molasses, honey, prunes and other dried fruits on toffee pudding. Taste: sweet, creamy, caramel toffee pudding, prunes, brandy, soft, not bad.
