Summer Ale is a traditional American wheat beer with a crisp malted wheat flavor.
A lively brew, it’s a clean, cool, and refreshing light bodied ale, worthy of a relaxing afternoon in the sun. This brew is an ode to summer in Maine and pairs well with lobster, beaches and sunshine. This beer is best enjoyed outside with a lime wedge.

12oz bottle at a backyard party. Nose has some mild spice, mild sweetness, fruit too. A bit trashy. Flavor is the same, a bit too sweet, not enough bitterness to round it out. Straw, honeysuckle. Watery finish.

Reviewed from notes.
The appearance was a clear golden colored body with a solid white two finger head that leaves some spotty lacing. Some carbonation was seen rising slowly. The head dissipates to a small bubble after about three minutes. No rings were left.
The smell was based around the grain, some corn adjuncts come out with a tad of citrus ever so lightly in the background.
The taste was bland but there were some slight hints of citrus and hops. The finish was slightly bitter.
On the palate, it sat light, watery with some carbonation felt, sessionable.
Overall, well, I thought I liked this beer before, but realized this wasn’t as good as I thought. It could have just been a bad brew.

Location: 12 oz bottle from Buy Rite, 8/17/13
Aroma: This one has a nose of citrus/fruits, yeast, bread, and a little grass
Appearance: A clear gold-orange pour with a small, quickly dissipating head and mild lace
Flavor: The taste is alright, light-mid sweet, fruit, yeast, and a clean lightly bitter, grassy finish
Palate: The body is on the lighter side, it has some fizziness, and a mild dryness
Overall Impression: Hey, it is not bad, but isn't really so good either. This made for an alright summer beer that I could drink again, and would work just fine by the pool, but certainly won't blow you away with flavor.
