Hell bananiger Antrunk, deutliche Süße. Weich hefig-bananig bleibend, kaum herb. Süffig, die Süße steigt während die Herbe leicht ansteigt. Nicht schlecht, mir aber etwas zu süß. 10/8/9/9/8/9

Draught Very huge & very dense snowwhite head over fully lemon-yellow beer. Banana - and other fruitesters jumping out of the glass. Bit of lemon and a bit of wheat. Mild, again quite spicy (clove, mostly, but also others, if more discreet) flavours. Later, some citrus takes over, earthy. Light body, if lots of wheatslickness. DIscreet, but exactly therefore, nice. It’s not as typosyncratic as some.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein trübes goldenes Bier mit schöner Schaumkrone. Geruch hefig, fruchtig, würzig. Geschmack hefig fruchtig, reife Bananen, leicht würzig.

Bottle (kindly delivered by Quack-Duck!): Golden to deep golden, cloudy, medium-sized creamy off-white head, distinctive yeasty-wheaty nose with a citrussy touch; moderate sourish-sweetish flavour, light to medium bodied, soft; lemony-sourish finish with a yeasty touch. Fresh and pleasant Weizen....

(bottle, courtesy of Quack-Duck) Cloudy, orange-golden colour with a blond and tall foamy head. Classical Hefeweizen scent: yeasty wheat-malty aroma with notes of banana, bubblegum and citric sourness in the background. Quite sour flavour, light to medium bodied with a moderate carbonation for a Hefeweizen. Wheaty and yeasty taste with notes of citrus, grapefruit and a tinge of banana; sour-fruity and delicately sweet finish. Perhaps a tad too sour for the style. 24.IV.11

The bottle looks good the same as the beer in the glass. Zippy, creamy head. Starts fruity like apricot, a little bit sweet, modest yeasty. A good beer!

Bottle bought at the brewery. Looks good, as well as the beer in the glass. Quite zippy, nice creamy head. Starts yeasty fruity, notes of banana. Modest sweet. Finish a bit more floury, but not too much. Quite drinkable, good Weizen!
