'Jelling Guld' er brygget for at markere begivenheden med tyveriet af Guldhorns kopierne fra udstillingen i "Kongernes Jelling". De blev dog fundet igen og er nu anbragt i sikkerhed på nationalmuseet.

Bottled. Deep golden colour with a small white head. Aroma is sweet malts, toffee, bread and some mild fruity and floral notes. Flavour is caramel, toffee, some mild alcohol, bread and nice bitterness.

Hazy amber with a lasting off-white head. Caramel malty aroma with spicy-herbal yeasty notes. Dry and tart caramel and dried fruit flavour with some dark bready notes. Shame that it’s supposed to be a doppelbock, as I kinda like the infections.

Bottle 500ml.ABV. 7.9%. Clear medium amber color with a average to large, frothy to creamy, good lacing, fully lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to light light heavy malty, caramel, brown sugar, light to moderate hoppy. Flavor is light heavy sweet and moderate to light light heavy bitter with a average to long duration, malt extract. Body is medium, texture is oily and sticky, carbonation is soft. [20101013]

Bottled. A hazy amber beer with a medium off-white head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of caramel and light notes of spices. The flavor is very sweet with artificial notes of fruitsugar.

aroma : smells like a danish "gold" smooth aroma. cloudy orange, semilarge thick smooth offwhite head. flavor is sweet(honey-sweet), a little bit sour, less strong than alc.% would’ve make eme expect.

(bottle, courtesy of Papsoe) Clear, orange-golden colour with a big and cream-coloured foamy head. Light-sweet and moderately yeasty (cara-)malty nose with floral and citrus-/orange-fruity hops. Sweet flavour, full bodied with a soft carbonation. Almost sugary malty base with notes of caramel, orange-blossoms and phenolic spices; sweet and sugary, malt-accented finish with floral and citrus-fruity hops. Quite sweet but still convincing brew (19.08.08).

Bottle: Cloudy, orangey to light amber coloured, bigger fluffy beige head; solid sweet-fruity (oranges) nose with shy hoppy edges; robust sweet flavour, medium to full bodied, quite soft, but rather sticky; very sweet orangey-malty finish with a shy bitterness like cause by orange zests. Very sweet, but drinkable.............
