Appearance: Opaque deep brown to black with a one finger tall ivory-coloured frothy head of decent retention. Aroma: Roast, peat, bacon, insulating tape, dried dates and figs, oak barrel, some hop. Taste: Light sweet and bitter. Roast, peat, bacon, insulating tape, dried dates and figs, oak barrel, hoppy ending. Mouth feel: Medium to full body, soft to average carbonation. Summary: Nicely done.

Bottle. Dark brown color, coffee foam,. Aroma: smoked, iodine, bandages, peat, Islay whisky, prunes, caramel, dried fruits. Taste: volcanic ash with iodine, burnt, prunes burned next, caramel, Islay peated whiskey.
