Golden amber in colour with citrus and some floral hop aromas. Toffee sweetness and citrus fruit flavours are balanced by a floral and earthy hop contribution, with a long dry satisfying bitter finish.

7th April 2010. Clar amber beer. Dtyish palate. Well balanced light caramel malt and good orangey hops that arenโ€™t too bitter. Competant but unexciting.

(Cask at Bree Louise, Euston, London, 20 May 2010) Golden colour with frothy, off-white head. Fruity, malty nose with biscuity malt and gentle notes of citrus. Fruity, slightly malty taste with notes of citrus, peaches, biscuity malt and a gentle bitterness in a finish with a touch of citrussy hops. Below medium body, balanced sweetness. Refreshing and tasty but possibly lacking something extra.

On gravity at the London Drinker festival 11/03/10. Amber with a slight, off-white head. Aroma of hedgerow fruit and leafy hops. Flavour of biscuit malt, more fruit and a decent, bitter finish. A good session beer.
