Sample at the brewpub. The beer is a clear yellow-gold color with a medium frothy white head that dissipates steadily. Spotty lacing on the glass. Aroma of fruit and bready malt. Light body with flavors of mild hops, sweet malt and fruit. Touches of corn as well. The finish is lightly hopped with a grainy malt aftertaste. Tasty Cream Ale overall.

10th October 2008. GABF. Clear gold beer. Lagerish but with a softer palate. This beer is all about the finish - sweet cream with a touch of hop. Not bad.

Draft at the Pelican. Light floral hop aroma. Bright golden color with a white head that leaves fine lacing. Starts with lightly sweet stone fruit, very fresh. Floral aspects. Very light bitter finish. Tasty.

On tap at Pelican Pub and Brewery, Pacific City, OR. Pale gold, with thin white head. Some citrus aroma, although some cream in mouth. Then great hop finish. Extremely drinkable, like and English golden premium ale. I had it again at Basement Bar in Portland which was slightly blander and less hoppy.

[At Stockholm Beer Festival 2005] A hazy yellow beer with a thin white head. The aroma is sweet and slightly hoppy as well as slighlty grassy. The flavor is sweet with notes of peach as well as grass as a good deal of lemon, but the body is a little thin.

Hazy pale yellow, small white head, lace. Pale malty, floral hoppy nose. "Rubbery" yeasty, a bit watery, hints of banana before late hoppyness. Easy to drink session beer. My first Cream Ale and the last needed beer style in Ratebeer.
