Bottle. It pours a clear, golden body under a small, dense, off-white head. The aroma is floral, piney and lightly citrusy, with some malts in the back. It’s full- to medium-bodied, with a soft and pleasant carbonation level. The flavor has a nice lightly biscuity maltyness in the back, just a little sweetness, enough bitterness to balance it, and flowery, piney and grassy hops. Short fruity and lightly bitter finish. Technically flawless, but except for being easy drinkable and quite quenching, it’s rather useless. Too boring in my book. 140622

19.06.2014, 0,33l bottle @ home:
Tiny shortlasting head, completely clear, very light color. Aroma is slightly sweet grainy, weeds, wet grain, caramel, hay, flowers, almonds, hints of nuts and honey. Taste is slightly dry, hay, weeds, caramel, grain, flowers, yeast, hints of nuts. Little bitterness, watery mouthfeel. So freakin’ boring...!!

Bottle. Clear light golden with a small creamy head. Aroma is sweet malts with toffee and grain, as well as some zesty light citrusy hops. Medium body with average carbonation. Flavour is sweet with roasted malts, caramel, grain and some toffee, as well as herbal and soapy hops with some citrusy and metallic notes. A bit of a disappointing standard light lager from the usually solid line of Fuller’s.

33cl bottle from Meny Ringnes park, Oslo. Hmmm, "New wave craft lager"? Sounds suspicious! Well, seems to be more lager than craft. The usual clear golden with a white head appearance. Mild malty aroma with hints of fruits, citrus and grass. Moderate sweet with mild flavours, but a pleasant slightly hoppy and bitter finish. Seems to be an okay premium lager.

33cl bottle. Clear amber, thin white head. Malty, mild fruity aroma. Flavor has citrus hops, malt, white bread, slightly harsh. Semisweet finish. Fizzy. Non offensive but nothing that stands out in any way.

First rating: Small white head. Slightly hazy yellow body. Vague fruity aroma. Dry-acidic earthy strawy dusty taste with funky notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, mealy mouthfeel. Dry earthy dusty aftertaste with funky notes. Odd, low on flavour. Probably infected. (0.268l keg at Truscott Arms, London.) 5,4,4,3,8=2.4
Second rating: Big white head. Clear yellow body with carbonation. Fruity strawy aroma with vaguely sulphury notes. Sweet-dryish mealy strawy taste with metallic citric notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft mouthfeel. Dryish mealy earthy spicy aftertaste with herbal notes. Well. Consider me disappointed. (0.33l bottle, from Meny Oslo City.) 5,4,5,3,11=2.8
Using only second rating.
