Keg at the LBA fest at Le Gothique, 24/07/14. Clear golden with a moderate off white covering. Nose is pale malts, light citric peel, papery notes. Taste comprises bread dough, lemon rind, faint orange, grass. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. So so indeed!

330ml bottle picked up at Meny Oslo City. Bright golden body. Initially large white head slowly reduced to a remaining layer. Minimal lacing. Mild aromas of herbal hops with hints of lemon. Fresh fruity hops to the flavour character with subdued malty sweetness beneath. Smooth mid-dry bitter endnotes. Soft carbonated. Easy drinking, thirst quenching summer beer, (cabin, riverboat Serenade 1 cruising upstream on the Rhine, 24.07.2014).

1st bottle in my random lager night and I really enjoyed it. 330ml into a Veltins badged stemmed tulip on my patio after working in the garden all day. Reminded me of Andechs Vollbier Hell in looks and smell, a bit more citrusy in taste though. Refreshing, clean and thirst quenching with that citrus bite to give it a better overall depth and character. One of the best lagers I have had for a while. Hope the next two on the planned tasting are as good.

Bottle, 0.33l. Clear straw color with medium creamy white head and sparkling appearance. Aroma of citrus, other tropical fruits and cereals. Taste starts with light sweet maltiness, follows by pleasant fruity and grainy acidity, mouthfeel is a bit spicy, while finish is medium bitter. Medium body, slick texture and average carbonation in palate. Beer Lord, if you insist we drink lagers, please serve us with such hybrids :)

Keg at Harpenden Arms, Harpenden. Mid to dark yellow, small white head. Scent of orange/lemon and hay. Balanced. Taste is just the right side of sweet without being cloying. Also just the right amount of carbonation to pep up the mouthfeel. Light grainy hops in the aftertaste. A good beer on a summer day.
