Many thanks for this bottle to Erzengel. Hazy golden colour with a medium-size white head. Yeast, wheat, grain, banana, caramel and mild biscuit in the aroma.

Had this as Wuppertaler 1/2 Weizenbier. Thanks to Erzengel for that bottle. Looks simple but good. Beer in the glass zippy, nice head. Starts mild but not washy, fine malty-yeasty, modest sweet. Not too dry. Light fruity notes of apricot. Finish well balanced, quite drinkable. Not bad!

Geschmack hefig fruchtig, Nelke.

Nose is toffee, banana, spice, herbs, touch minty, citrus zest. Taste compeises toffee, banana, corriander, spice, orange peel. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Solid enough weizen, no world beater mind.

11/11/12/11/7/11
