Tap at Gingerman to finish off the afternoon flight. Pours dark brown with thin head and sweet sugary nose. Tastes of molasses, dark fruits especially figs and plums, coffee, dark chocolate, and pretty smokey. A touch sweet and sticky but very tasty and unique

This beer pours black with a medium beige head that dissipates steadily to a film. Partial rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of malt, spices and chocolate. Medium body with flavors of roasted malt, dark fruit, bitter chocolate and spices. The finish is roasty with a lingering spiced chocolate aftertaste. Interesting and above average overall.

Black pour. Chocolate malts, roasted malt, light sweets, and some ripened fruit in the aroma. Full body. Flavor is much the same with the chocolate and roasted malts really throwing their weight around. Finishes lightly dry with some nice yeast spice.

Bottle: Poured a pitch-black color stout with a large dark brown foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of dry roasted malt with light residual sugar notes (maybe some lactose) and light smoked notes. Taste is a complex mix between some dry roasted malt with some light smoke notes and some light spicy malt notes. Body is quite full with light creamy texture and good carbonation. Well brewed with good level of complexity while retaining a good drinkability level.

65 cl bottle @ hotel room, Las Vegas
Quite high viscosity. Aroma is somewhat roasted with hay, sweetish toffee and hints of cocoa. Flavour is roasted and a bit weird with toffee, salmiac, some spices, hints of soy sauce. Rather dry and a bit weird stout.
