Cloudy gold beer, huge frothy white head. Fruit sherbet nose. Dry crisp palate. Sherbetty head. Dry malt, fruits, touch of barnyard. A bit weird and way too dry!

Bottle. Golden pour with white head. Then, something went wrong. Nose/taste of burnt metal, grain, yeast and orange peel. Hot tin can on the palate. Medium body. Would re-rate with a new bottle.

CLear golden coloured body with a white head and a few bubbles rising from the bottom. Aroma of alcohol, apples, pears, paint and a bit more alcohol - strong. Light-bodied; Deep strong alcohol and pungent bitter tastes with some light yeast, a touch of herbs and grass and a little hop taste. Aftertaste bitter and strong with a touch of sweetness, a little malt and a lot of alcohol tastes. Overall, not such a great beer, but not absolutely horrible. A bit bitter and a little too strong for the style, but nice to sample anyways! I sampled this 33 cL stubby bottle purchased from La Bier Tempel in Bruxelles, Belgium on 02-January-2011 for €2,50, sampled at my hotel room in Amsterdam, the Netherlands on 03-January-2011.

Bottle @ Willems, Belgium. Pours unclear golden with a large creamy egg white head and lacings. Nose is herbal and spicy. Makes me think of vomit. Flavor is dry and grainy. A bit of yeast and hops. Clean with a bit of warmth from alcohol. Lively carbonation. Cookie dough. Full bodied. Tasty.

(bottle) Hazy, golden colour with a big and dense cream-coloured foamy head. Yeasty, citrus-fruity and peppery hoppy aroma with strong spicy notes of coriander. Bitter and slightly sweet flavour, medium to full bodied with a soft carbonation. Pale and cara-malty taste with yeasty and hoppy fruity notes; quite dry and bitter finish with a light malty sweetness, slightly citric and floral hops and loads of coriander spice. A tad too spicy but nevertheless likeable Tripel. 15.I.10

Bottle, 5.8%. Good citric aroma, quite funky. Almost clear golden colour. Small white head. The flavour is OK malty, quite citric, some white wine. The finish is a bit rough with a hint of stable.
