Cask at JDW Bishop Vesey; dark amber pour with white head, slight floral hop, quite astringent back taste detect some diacetyl not massively but slightly unpleasant.

Cask@The Pembury Tavern, London. Golden colour, small head. Aroma is bready, yeasty, herbal and mild floral notes. Flavour is very similar with a quite nice bitterness in the finish.

Cask @ Bon Accord. Clear copper colour, off-white head. Nose is light caramel, bit of fruits. Flavour is caramel malts, fruity, bit of citrus. Slightly bitter finish.

Bottle at home ... golden blond ... ligh soft dull fruit hop nose ... light fruits ... soft toffee malt ... quite dull ... but easy drinkin.

Bottle 500ml.Clear medium yellow orange color with a small to average, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, toasted - caramel - toffee. Flavor is moderate sweet and light moderate bitter with a average to long duration, toffee, acrid bitter notes. Body is light medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. [20100917]

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Pours an almost clear pale amber with an off-white head. Tired British hop aroma. Light body, some fruit but dominated by a rough and astringent bitterness. Not so good. 170910
