The brilliant, dark gold appearance expresses a robust grist of German-grown heirloom Pilsner and Munich malts. Our take on a highly variable style and cultural phenomenon that originated in Northeast Bavaria in the 14th century. Star-shaped signs hung outside of community-owned brewhouses indicated a fresh batch of beer for all to enjoy.
