*Old rating. Best before 15. 07.2011. Nice but a bit thin caramelly smooth beer. Hints of grain, fresh and round. The aftertaste has hints of caramel, hints of grain and hints of water.

Many thanks for this bottle to Beerhunter111. Dark color yellow small white head. Aroma of grass, malt and biscuit. Taste is refreshing with grass and spices.

Klare dunkel goldene Farbe, ordentliche weiße Schaumkrone. Geruch malzig, Getreide, Karamell, leicht hopfig. Geschmack schwach malzig, hopfig, würzig.

Bottle at the Rittmayer keller in Hallerndorf, 21/7/2013. Deep gold with a decent, off-white head. Bready malts dominated both the flavour and aroma of this beer, with a hint of grassy hop and bitter finish. Ok.

Wässrig herber Antrunk, hell würzig. Wenig malzig, im Mittelteil bereits milder werdend, wässrig malziger Ausklang. Trinkbar. 9/8/9/7/8/7

Bügelverschlußflasche: Pale golden to golden, small - slowly diminishing - white head, a bit lacy, fresh citrussy to hayish traces of hops over a relatively solid pale-malty background, some rural-bready traces underneath; light to moderate bitter-sweet flavour, not watery but light bodied as expected; lingering dryish bitter finish with a pale-malty counterweight. Surely not superb, but still a very decent Franconian Lager, far better than the usual german crap from other regions…

Bottle traded from fonefan. Nice head with good duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are malt, hops, grass and notes of water.

Bottle. Creamy white good mostly lasting head. Dark yellow colour. Moderate malty and light hopppy aroma. Light bitter flavor. Average light bitter finish. Watery palate. Nice regarding ABV.

Bottle @ Papsø-Grand-Tasting, September 2010. Pours cloudy golden with a small white head and lacings. Grain, hay and corn. Medium to thin palate. Bland.
