Tasting glass draft @ Billie’s Bier Kafétaria. Hazy orange with an off-white head. Nose is massive Bergamot oil / Earl Grey, huge tea profile, some fruit hops but way in the back, low stone fruit, I adore the Earl Grey profile on me. Taste is hop oil blended with far more Bergamot oil, massive Earl grey, lightly sweet, maybe touch too sweet for the intended style, some stone fruit. Maybe smidgeon too sweet but if you enjoy Earl Grey as much as I do you will adore this. This beer marries my love of beer & tea. Body is hop oil, thick Bergamot oil, hazy hop. Very nice.

330ml bottle. Pours cloudy deep gold with a thick head. Aroma is full of fruit, with orange, lemon, peach, grapefruit and a little melon. Taste is some tart lemon up front, leading into a big floral tea note with a tonne of caramel and orange too. This beer is just so much fun, as well as being absolutely delicious. It’s one you just have to try.

Tap at Doghouse, Glasgow. Hops and something organic, which is presumably the tea. Light gold. Weak but bright white head. Refreshingly but not overly hoppy, with a smooth savoury edge. Light and soft bodied.

Tap @ In De Wildeman, sample size glass. Golden color, mostly clear. White head. Aroma’s: perfumy, citrussy, light earl grey/bergamot. Retronasal it’s perfumy, bergamot, aniseed, fruit, tea. Flavor is mild, light bitter, tea-ish. Medium bodied. Light bitter finish, herbal. Pretty nice.

Bottle at De Kromme Haring. Hazy golden orange with an off white head. Aroma shows off the earl grey bring out nice citric notes along with light tropical fruits, light orange and mango. Flavour is light to moderate sweet and light moderate bitter. Light medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, sweet malt, tea, orange, fruity, earl grey - tea. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, earl grey, tea, sweet malt, sugary - honey alike sweet, pale malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. Shared 33cl bottle. Clear golden color with cream-colored head. Aroma of citrus, lemon, and tea. Taste is citrus, lemon, Earl Grey tea, floral notes, cleaning fluid, herbs. Lemony finish. Perhaps a little too much lemon, but enjoyable nevertheless.
