Aidon saunan alkuperää saa tokin arvailla, mutt suomalainen tietää. Saunahan ei ole vain paikka. Se on annos syvää rauhaa. Ikuisuutta ja ihmisen kokoisia ajatuksia. Kiireestä vapaa vyöhyke maailman kauneimmassa maisemassa. Se on maailman paras suomalainen sauna. Onkin selvää, että pyhään toimitukseen vaaditaan aidosti suomalainen, sopivasti aromikas ja erittäin raikas saunaolut. Saunojilta saunojille, itsenäiseltä Olvilta.

31st July 2010. ChrisO’s ’Raise The Roof’ tasting.
Clear gold beer with a good white head. Sweetish, almost tripel like aromatic malt. Finishes dry and semi sweet. Not quite joined up.

Sampled at Chris O’s ’Raise the Roof’ tasting. Can’t remember whether this was a can or bottle. Pale yellow pour with a white head. Malts, slight hops in the nose. Citrusy flavours.

Flaske 0,33l fra Alko-Muonio utlevert på Kilpisjjärvi. Veldig lys gylden på farge. Et hvitt, kremaktig skum som varer en stund. Gressaktig aroma. Lite kullsyre. Smaken er uvariert&kjedelig. Svakt søtlig malt. 0 bitterhet.

Bottled 0,33l from Alko (BB 11/2010)
Pale golden color, mostly vanishing white head. Aroma has hayish hoppyness, starch, malts and metal. Fizzy carbonation. Flavor is sweetish malty, metallic with low bitterness (just some hayish-grassy notes). Typical Olvi-beer: palate is quite watery. Despite of fancy name, just another bulk lager.

Bottled (from Alko). Golden colour, not much head. Aroma is grains, some slight saltwater and mild rubbery notes. Flavour is grains, rubber, mild metallic notes as well as sweet malts.
