Cask@GBBF2011. Deep hazy amber colour, no head. Aroma is rum, fruits, apples, some alcohol and mild wooden notes. Flavour is rum, apples, alcohol, wood, yeast, some mild riped fruits as well. Really pleasant. I could have just stopped rating right there, and bought this on and on for the rest of the day.

Bottle, 1 pint, a milk-bottle-like one, definitely not looking nice. The looks of the cider is much better, golden in color and without any head or carbonation. Very vinegary nose with lots of apples and an orchard touch. It’s too dry in the mouth, medium bodied, with lots of vinegar and apples. Really puckering for a medium dry cider. Really nice aroma, the flavor isn’t in the same league. 100814

Hazy orange with an off white head. Very sour aroma with plenty of acetone, lacto and natural apples. Very sour flavor with loads of lacto, acetone, natural tart apples and towards the end it became very dry. Sour and dry, lovely!

Plastic bottle, 8.4%. Quite citric and quite fruity aroma, some acetone. Cloudy dark orange colour. The flavour is very citric with some acetone. Lots of tannins. Good sweetness to balance. Real apple flavour in the aftertaste. Low carbonation.

Plastic bottle 568 cl. Pours a cloudy amber with no head but tiny impurities. The nose has acetone and sweet woody accents. Medium body, completely flat, sophisticated acetone - not that appley though. Tart finish. Not overly tannic. 140810
