Commercial description:

Bottle from Lidl. Quite well balanced, tasty and easy drinking. The classic Belgian spiciness is moderately intense, with only a subtle hops fruitiness coming in twist up the mix a little bit. Medium-low alcoholic warmth, slightly boozy. High carbonation, moderate perceived body. Overall a good one.

Bottle, 0.33l. Clear golden pour with very thin head. Nose is usually yeasty and malty but this time with subtle floral hops in the background. Refreshing. Medium to full body with slightly above the average carbonation. Thick and creamy texture, very smooth mouthfeel. Malty sweet taste with subtle hop bitterness and strong alcohol presence. Aroma is quite malty, belgian yeast, wheat and grains. Hops in the background. Brown sugar. Boozy. Quite rich actually and interestingly very easy to drink. This one goes down quite smoothly. Finish is slightly bitter and boozy. Overall, very good. Tasty one.

(Bottle, Poechenellekelder, Brussels, 19 May 2017) Golden amber colour with frothy, off-white head. Malty, hoppy nose with dried fruit, apricots, orange peel and fresh floral hops. Malty, fruity taste with notes of apricots, orange peel, candy sugar and finish with fresh floral hops and a balanced bitterness. Full body, quite sweet. Fairly smooth and rounded mouthfeel, with a gentle alcohol glow. On the sweet side, but fresh and tasty. Nice one.

Barwa złota, klarowne, piana biała umiarkowanie obfita, umiarkowanie trwała. W aromacie chmielowość, ziołowość, lekka iglastość, uzupełniona gruszkami i brzoskwiniami. W smaku półsłodkie, wyraźne nuty fenolowe i estrowe - gruszki, brzoskwinie, białe wino, nuty chlebowe, ciasteczkowe, na finiszu lekka kwaskowość i przyprawowość.

Hefig hopfiger Antrunk, trocken alkoholisch. 9/8/8/8/9/8

Bottle from Terre de Boissons Calais and drunk at home. Clear dark anber brown colour lasting beige head. Sweetish strongish hoppish. Hoppy toffee on the aroma. My teeth are almost rotting at the sugar in this. Sweetness balanced by the stinging hop on the finish. Not so keen on aroma but liked the finish. Enjoyed the abv.
