Cask at Archie's, Aberdeen. It pours clear rich copper wig a frothy off -white head. The aroma is earthy, woody, sappy, resin, pine, toffee, toasty grains and earth. The taste is firmly dry, bitter, toothy, some bitterness, leather, sappy, resin, fragrant, floral, pine, tannin and some herbal vibes with a drying, toothy finish. Average body and carbonation. A bit chewy perhaps, but not bad.

Hand pulled pint in my local Spoons on 5th June 2025. Copper coloured (name gives that away), off white head. Malty front with a decent hop bill, I suspect Cascade, again the name gives that away.

[Cask at the Hope Tap (JDW), Reading.] A pale chestnut pour with a tight cream coloured head; malty aroma; dry with a nutty malt taste and a creamy body; then a fruity finish with a pleasant bitterness and lingering biscuity malts. Rather good.

Cask at Moon Under Water, Wolverhampton. Pours a dark copper with a small off-white head. The aroma is a blend of malts and citrus. In the mouth it is basically sweet with a creamy texture but also a little underlying bitterness. Malts, caramel and citrus dominate the flavour with traces of raisins and spice coming later. Finish is slightly dry. This is decent.

Cask at the Rochester Castle (JDW), Stoke Newington. Copper, off-white head. Toffee, earthy bitterness up front. Bitterness fades to leave vague berry notes. A sub-par bitter.

Copper color. Full on citrusy nose. Very light body that doesn't support the hops. A bit sour with moderately bitter finish
