Crystal clear, good white head. Smell is a little hoppy. Flavour is hoppy, a little fruit, a malty base. A bit thin, a little watery in the aftertaste. It's okay, inoffensive and like every basic golden ale you've ever had.

Bottle from Aldi Ellon. It pours clear golden - amber with a decent frothy white head. The aroma is sweet biscuity malt, digestives, nutty, dried citrus peel and a touch of stone fruit. The taste is firm and dry, bitter - sweet, biscuit, woody, sappy, pithy citrus, rindy, peppery spice, slightly soapy, earth and tannin with a drying finish. Average carbonation and fine, prickly carbonation. A fairly run of the mill golden ale. Drinks fine though.

Cask. Strong hop aroma, fragrant and fruity. Very fruity flavor with good maltiness and lots of hops. Citrus, especially grapefruit, and melon, plus pepper. Complex and flavorful, a good, light bitter beer.

(Cask at Oliver Twist, Stockholm, on 2009-07-28) Amber and lightly hazy. Small, dense and white head. Hops, lightly aniseed and fruitiness in aroma. Medium bodied and dry palate with low carbonation. Malts, lighly aniseed, fruitiness, hops, bitterness, lightly sweet white wine like flavour and salt water in taste. Malty aftertaste. A bit strange flavour but I do like it.
