Bottled. A deep red beer with a thin beige head. The aroma has notes of citrus, malt, and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt and caramel as well as light acidic note from the hops, leading to a dry and bitter finish.

Bottled. An unclear golden-brown beer with a thin off-white head. The aroma has notes of citrus, malt, caramel, and an odd-stable like note. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, straw, and an odd fruit note, leading to a sweet fruity finish.

Bottled. An unclear orange-brown beer with a huge orange-tan head. The aroma is sweet citrusy combined with notes of hops, grass, and straw, as well as light notes of alcohol. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, citrus, straw, and bread, leading to a slightly bitter finish.

Bottle 75 cl. As: "Bøgedal Nr. 0213". Pours a clear warm, dark amber with a small off-white head. The nose has sweet caramel. Solid body, sweet caramel and rather sophisticated exotic fruits. Vague farmhouse touch and some sweet licorice. Warming alcohol finish. Lovely. 210810

Bottle 75 cl. As "Bøgedal Nr. 0191". Pours a cloudy amber with a beige head. Rustic nose, nuts and fruit with a farmhouse fusty edge - cork?. Solid body, nuts, fruit and burned caramel. Again with a slight tang of mould - this unfortunately has happened with a couple of Bøgedals lately. A little alcohol in the finish. 6/3/6/3/12=3.0 280110

Bottle 75 cl. As "Bøgedal Nr. 0166". Hazy amber golden with a lively off-white head. Aroma of fruit and caramel. Medium body, sweetish caramel dominates combined with some fruitiness. Hardly any hops in the finish. 290509

75 cL bottle at Bakkens Ølfest. Pours hazy orange with a shortlived head. Aroma is fruity, caramelish and slight yeasty. Sweet, fruity, caramelish and mild yeasty mellow. Lasting fruity, bitter and dry phenolic finish. Smooth and easy, yet with a light bitter sharpness.

75 cL bottle. Pours cloudy orange with a small white head. Aroma is mild caramelish and light yeasty. Sweet caramelish, slight yeasty and vague vegetable like. Mild bitter and fruity note into the finish.

CBF09. 75 cL bottle. Pours hazy to murky light brown with a small off white head. Light fruity and yeasty aroma. Biscuit malt and hoppy fruity flavoured. Light bitterness mixed with a mild and smooth mellow yeast note. Medium dry and bitter finish.

Bottle @ RB Odense Tasting, Feb 2010. Pours unclear dark brown with a off white bubbly head on top. Nose is sweet malty and spicy. Some caramel, bread and floral hops. Dusty and slightly yeasty "homebrewer" flavor with some caramel and citrus hops. Medium bodied.

Bottle at the brewery. Creamy off-white good mostly lasting head. Orange colour. Moderate malty and hoppy aroma. Heavy bitter spicey flavor. Citrus and cinnamon notes. Long nice heavy bitter finish. Creamy palate.

Bottle at Bøgedal julemarked. Nice head with good duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are honey, malt, caramel and licorice. Nice and smooth.

Hazy dark amber color; big head; big . Controversial aroma, some caramel and vegetables. Good body structure, medium strength; strong caramel flavor and strong bitterness, light residual sweetness. Pleasant.
