Cask. A hazy brown beer with a thin beige head. The aroma has notes of malt and caramel as well as hints of roasted bread. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, and nuts, as well as a touch of alcohol.

Cask (gravity) @ NWAF 10, National Winter Ales Festival, The Venue, Sheridan Suite, Manchester, England.Clear dark amber color with a average, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, nutty, caramel. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20100120]

Cask. Pours an almost clear dark amber with an off-white head. Nutty nose. Medium-bodied, nuts and very sweet caramel. No real bitterness. A somewhat sticky ESB. 200110
