Half, cask conditioned at Duck & Drake in Leeds. Shining, naked surface to a deep, mahogany coloured body. Sweet malty to the nose, slightly roasted. Dark chocolate malts in flavour nicely balanced by resin-like hops. Good mild, not watered at all. (Sunday pub crawl in Leeds, 11.07.2010).

On gravity at the Queen Victoria, Stroud 05/09/09. Dark-reddish brown with a decent, off-white head. Aroma of dark fruit, caramel and nuts. Flavour started sweetish, before roasted malts and a mildly bitter finish. Very drinkable.
