Cask. A dark chestnut colored beer with a thin off-white head. The aroma has strong notes of caramel as well as medium notes of alcohol and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, and fruits, leading to a dry and nutty finish.

Cask (gravity) @ Smithfield Hotel, 37 Swan St, Manchester, Greater Manchester England M4 5JZ.Clear medium to dark red brown color with a small, fizzy to frothy, virtually none lacing, fully diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, berry - fruity, light to moderate hoppy, flowers notes, licorice notes. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat. [20100120]

Cask. Clear dark brown with basically no head. Some citrus in the nose as well as dried fruit. Light body, flat, some roasted malt and again citrus notes in the flavour. Lightly bitter finish. 200110
