750ml bottle (thx, Alex!). Pours a bit hazy golden with no head. Aroma is sweet with honey notes, a bit woody. Similar taste, just very slightly boozy. Pleasant.

750mL bottle, pours a clear golden. Aroma brings out cheap honey, some acidity, and a touch of brown sugar. Flavour is medium sweet, with light-medium acidity, treacle toffee, and wildflower honey. Not the most elegant mead out there, with a fairly light and acidic palate. Good stuff - better than the average here, but nothing special.

Dull gold. On the nose, fairly honeyish. Soft, but with rich honeyed sweetness. Nice floral accent. Good balance, as there is just a touch of acidity that helps it along.

750 ml bottle. Clear, straw yellow body without any head. Aroma is mostly honey and alcohol with a faint hint of flowers. Flavor is medium sweet, mild honey. Even if the honey flavor feels a bit mild, it still a rather heavy brew, not very elegant but somehow bald and boozy with a hint of fruity acidity. Not very balanced at all. I suppose it’s drinkable if you enjoy mead, but it’s not my cup of honey.

Bottle, courtesy of Papsoe. A rather pale one, yellowish-golden and with no carbonation or head. Oily. The aroma has a slightly papery touch, some resemblance of a bland sake. The flavor is slightly better, with flowers and honey. Full-bodied, oily and flat. Warming. A rather alcoholic mead, lacking on balance. Not very tasteful either. 100814
