Bottle at craig’s. Pours deep amber, nose is floral, toffee, fruity, taste is sweet, dry, grapes.

Bottle at Craigs. Pours hazy amber with a thin white head. Aromas of mead, honey. Taste is light honey, light spice. Sweet finish. Not bad, for a honey beer.

Bottle. Nice creamy head with good duration. Color is close to black. Aroma and taste are fruits, licorice, toasted malt, caramel and hops.

Bottled. A brown beer with a bubbly brown head. The aroma has notes of malt, caramel, and nuts. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, and nuts, leading to a dry finish. Thanks Papsoe for sharing.

Cloudy mahogany with a medium beige head. Sweet aroma with roasted malt, caramel and dark fruits. Sweet flavour with roasted malt, caramel, dark fruits and hints of chocolate. Finished sweet.

Bottle 750ml.Clear medium brown color with a average to large, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, caramel, burnt caramel, light nutty, light brown sugar, light to moderate yeasty. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20100706]

Bottle 75 cl. RBESG Rome 2010. Pours an almost clear dark amber with a rough off-white head. Overripe fruity nose with some roasted malt. Full-bodied, sweet roasted malts and a whiff of dark fruit. Yeast and a little alcohol comes forward in the finish. Not bad. 070610

75 cL bottle, courtesy of Papsoe. Pours golden deep orange to brown with a small white head. Aroma is phenolic and mild fruity. Caramelish and malty flavoured. Bitter and mild spiced. Slight phenolic finish.
