Bottle, stable fluffy head, deepish gold colour, aroma of vanila, herbs, bread and a bit of honey, honey sweetness and a strong herbal bitterness balancing each other. Nice and quite drinkable.

Bottle from Dicey Reilly, Ballyshannon [090414]
Pale blonde, clear, bubbly white head
Aroma of soft light spicy hops, touch grassy, very light pale malt, soft cereal
Taste as aroma, soft spicy hop, soft pale malts, light pale honey, touch of light oily slightly buttery caramel, no metallic flavours, not a bad flavour for a lager
Palate - Medium carb, light to medium body, bit oily, smooth. Finish as main flavour, light sweet pale malt tail.
Overall - An above average lager

Bottle. Clear yellowish gold with a white head. Aroma of bread, cereals, a bit worty and a faint hoppy hint. Sweetish malty flavor, bready and grainy with a slightly bitter finish. Medium-bodied.

Bottle. Crystal clear, golden body, with a medium, frothy, white head, that dissipates quickly and leaves some lacing. Light aroma of grains, honey, herbs. Light taste with the same aromas, but with more bitter herbs and some metallic notes. Mouthfeel is light, with a medium carbonation and it finishes medium bitter, with grains and herbs. Nothing special at all.

0,5 l bottle with a solid old school german standard design. A clear pale honey in the glass, small white head. Low grainy in the nose. Starts mid grainy, light sweetness, low herb. Hints of malt and citrus in the background. Decent bitterness in the aftertaste. Not a typical Helles or Export, more like a Zwickel.

500ml bottle. Filtered orange-yellow body, steady thin creamy white head. Classic German brewhouse aroma, lots of lager notes. Some buttery notes kind of come out too. Sweet and very easy on the palate. Maybe a little too sweet, lacks much hop balance aside from some fickle up front dryness. Not really that impressive for a German offering. Doesn’t really grow on you. Comes off across cheap, factory. macro.

Tap, Quodlibet. Gold body, small white head. Honeyish dry grain malty nose, ok.  Light malty taste, heavy on pollen. Bit too light, almost no hop, really vague. Pollen attack! But not bad.
