(Bottle 75 cl) Black and opaque with a small, creamy, beige head. Lightly sweet and roasted malt aroma. Quite light - almost thin - in the body with sweetish, roasted malt accents and a vague, fusty edge. This ain’t French for nothing. No bitterness. More like a dark Bière de Garde. 070907

Bottled (BB 12/2008)
Muddy brown, creamy tan head. Lightly roasted, chocolaty, fruity and vegetably nose. Ashy flavor: tobacco, cold coffee. Dry aftertaste. A little bit like Portuguese "pretas" - just with fullier body. Not very ordinary French.
