Aarhus Bryghus Celebration at 6,5 % alc. was produced for our 5-years anniversary in 2010. It is something as unusual as a bottom-fermented IPA.
The hops are German Perle and Cascade, English Fuggles and East Kent Goldings. The hops combined, creates a velvety, pleasant bitterness, just when the beer enters the mouth. Afterwards comes a taste balance of the of hops and darker malts.
We find this beer suitable for strongly, flavored meat dishes.
The beer is mild and pleasant, without beeing a hop bomb.

Bottled. An amber beer with an off-white head. The aroma has notes of bread, malt, caramel, and some spices. The flavor is sweet with notes of spices, malt, and caramel - somewhat boring, leading to a citrusy hoppy and bitter finish. Thanks yespr for sharing.

60 cL bottle, courtesy of HenrikSoegaard. Pours clear and golden orange with a small off-white head. Aroma is mild citrusy and peachy. Furity, breadish and mild roasted malty. Lingering breadish malty into the finish.

Bottle. Creamy off-white good mostly lasting head. Orange colour. Moderate malty and hoppy nice grassy and herbal aroma. Moderate bitter herbal flavor. Average moderate bitter nice finish. Oily palate. Well balanced and nice beer from still improoving Aarhus bryghus.

Bottle, 6.5%. Very weak caramelly aroma. Clear copper colour. Very small white head. The flavour is nicely hoppy. A mild hoppiness, slightly grassy. Medium bitterness, clean and refreshing. Only drawback is the ABV, tastes like 5%, but is somewhat higher. 6 3 6 3 16

Clear golden with a medium off white head. Aroma had fruity hops, pine and toasted malt. Flavor was fairly hoppy and dry with pine and grapefruits. Finished dry and bitter.
