Friary Meux bitter was a prominent beer brand from Guildford, Surrey, produced by Friary, Holroyd & Healy's Breweries Ltd, which merged with Meux's Brewery Co. Ltd in 1956. The brand was associated with Allied Breweries and later Carlsberg-Tetley until production ceased in the 1990s. It was known as a traditional cask ale, with a 3.5% ABV "Best Bitter" listed in later years.
