Medium offwhite head. Amber body. Harmonic wooden caramelly malt aroma with resiny hop notes. Smoky, roasty notes. Dry faintly acidic taste of ashes, wood, and malts with caramelly, resiny notes. Some fruitiness. Slightly thin-bodied and a bit watery. Some sweetness, too. Soft, mild mouthfeel. Long, lingering aftertaste. A touch of metal. Not bad, but not really good, either. Bottled at RBESG ’07. Copper coloured. Aromaof hay and caramel. Medium sweet with some chewy, grainy malt. Lightly resiny finish with medium bitterness.

Cask handpull at The Wenlock Arms, London. Badged as Pitfield Bitter. Amber, lasting bubbly beige head. Competent session bitter. Some hop, yeast, caramel aroma. Great hop kicks in mouth, with bitterness on end, citrus earthy hop. Ticks all the boxes

A hazy orange beer with a small off-white head. The aroma is sweet malty with hints of caramel. The flavor is sweet though with hints of sourness probably because of the low ABV. The flavor is dominated by malty notes leading to a bitter hoppy end.
