500ml bottle. Pours amber with a small, frothy head. Aroma is bread and orange hops. Taste is watery orange hops throughout. Not that bad.

(Cask at King’s Head, Earl’s Court, London) This was a fruity and more precisely citric bitter. Even though I like citrus flavours and aroma this beer was missing something. Aroma and taste weren’t in balance. The fruitiness was mostly in taste and I would have liked it to be in aroma, too.

Bottle from the offie up the road. Light amber pour with a white head. Light citrus aromas with a little hop. Quite dull. Caramel, vanilla and toffee flavours. Quite sweet. Sweet finish, quite cloying with a hint of bitterness. According to the label Roger Protz liked this beer very much, clearly one of his off days.

The bottle version provided by Finn. Bubbly, white head slowly fading over a clear, copper coloured body. Fragile lacework on the glassware. Smooth aroma of juicy malts. Taste of mid-sweet caramel malts added by a hoppy twist. Rounded bitter ending. Satisfying (Tromsø, 22.09.2010).

Bottle. Honey barley malt and grass hops aroma. Golden yellow color with minimal head. Sweet orange malt and strong dry grass hops. Nice, on the hoppy side but nothing to set it above the crowd.

Feint lemony hop aroma. Slightly fruity flavour with a refreshing level of bitterness and a nutty edge to the finish.
