Light copper coloured body with a very thin off-white head. Aroma of light malt, very light hops and a touch of nuttiness. Light-bodied; Nice pleasant hop and malt balance tastes well with some fruits, almonds, and a very mild dryness. Aftertaste shows some good drying hops, a touch of caramel and even a bit of the alcohol noticeable. Overall, a good bitter, not great - but shows nicely when served on cask! I sampled this pint served on cask in London, England on 13-Decmber-2008.

Bottled (BB 05/2010)
Golden-amber color, small white head. Sweet honeyish, a bit resiny and nutty nose. Flavor is quite similar. Woody bitterness dominates, then also some pineapple-honeyish notes and nuttyness. Active carbonation. Quite typical English pasteurised ale, some similarities to Fullers products.
