Bottle at home, from Aune Valley farm shop, 03/05/18. Rich copper pour with a lasting faded beige head - a perfect looking bitter. Nose is brown bread, dried fruits, brown sugars, marzipan. Taste comprises fruit slice, toffee, toasted brown sugars, biscuit malt, very light spice, nutty, caramelised fruit peel. Medium bodied, soft massaging carbonation, semi drying close with a mellow bitter edge. A really solid flavoursome bitter ... one of the best bottled exponents of the style I've had !
