Stadin Witbier on belgialaistyylinen vehnäolut, jossa on käytetty 30 prosenttia mallastamatonta vehnää. Mausteista voi mainita korianterin ja pomeranssin. Maku on varsin täyteläinen, sitruunainen ja ehkä hiukan mausteisempi kuin monissa belgialaisesikuvissa.

33 cl bottle @ home. Rated on 11.08.2010
Aroma has lots of citrus, some spices, floral notes and Belgian yeast. Flavour has citrus, some wheaty, yeasty notes and hints of cardboard. Easy-going, too watery and straightforward.

33cl bottle, batch #405. Poured hazy, ugly brown with a thin white head. Aroma is citrus, spicy and yeasty. Flavor is honey, coriander and malt. Recognizable as a witbier, but not everything falls into place here. Drinkable though. Felt quite fresh and refreshing.

330ml Bottle (thanks mjs) - Hazy golden in colour. Spicy and slightly soapy aroma with a hint of lemon. Slightly thin and watery taste with spice, lemon and some tangy hints of banana. Not bad, but a bit thin. It has the potential to be so much better.

Draught at Black Door, Helsinki. Cloudy pale amber, small head. Fruity coriander aroma. Mid-sweet with light-medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Spritzy carbonation, some perfume, coriander and juicy pears. Quite refreshing, with pear being the lasting memory.

Bottled (BB 08/2010)
Pale golden slightly hazy color, small white head. Nose has banana, rubber, coriander and yeast. Very light palate. Tastes like Finnish sima: honey, Indian sugar then some yeast and coriander. Quite lame witbier.
