Draught at Copenhagen Beer Festival 2010. Lightly hazy golden, airy head. Fresh grapefruit and catpee aroma. Tart and citric with well rounded mouthfeel. The hops and lemony tatrness seem to enjoy each other’s company, though some of the sutbleness in the lambic is gone.

Handpumped. Pours hazy orange with a small white head. Aroma is dry wooden and crisp hoppy. Mild acidic and nice fruity hoppy flavoured. Bitter and dry into a lingering citric and hoppy finish. Mellow yeasty and crisp bitter flavoured. Nice one. A bit too acidic compared to the Nelson.

The Simcoe version. Draft. An unclear dark golden beer with a bit of sediment floating around - pretty weird for a draft beer, under an orangey head. The aroma has notes of vinegar, hops, straw, grass, brettanomyces, and spices. The flavor is acidic with notes of brettanomyces, wood, hops, grass, and spices, leading to a dry, tart, woody finish. The acidity burns in the throat.
