Bright clear amber beer, small white head. Light semi dry palate. Mild toffee in the even malt. Mildly bitter citric hops provide good balance. Semi dry finish. Mild bitter linger. Standard stuff - done well.

Cask at White Horse. Pours a clear deep amber with a light brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has some light fruits and biscuit with a note of backing sweet bread. Flavor starts with light fruits and mellows to biscuit and butterscotch.

Cask at the Twickenham Beer Festival 2012. A rather average bitter. Deep amber with a loose white head; aroma of Fuggles hops; thin of body, with a malty caramel flavour; and a dry finish.

Cask @ Caley, Edinburgh 171012 BBF Tap Takeover
Dark copper amber, clear, frothy white head, some lacing
Aroma - light aroma, caramel malts, touch of yeast, slight metallic edge
Taste - English hops, touch of minerals, caramel malts, soft toffee malts, slightly metallic
Palate - soft carb, thin to medium body. Finish as main flavour and a bit metallic
Overall - Not really a fan of this, itโ€™s not bad but itโ€™s not great...not sure about hops in this...least enjoyable BBF beer of the night for me

Cask at Bristolโ€™s Beerd, 8th May 2012. Not bad, standard clean bitter, a little under whelming on taste but good for a session beer

Bottle. Brownish beer with a fairly strong head. The aroma is roasted and well hopped, and the flavour is toffee, hopped and roasted with a reasonably long yeasty and dry finish. Overall a very nice strongly flavoured bitter.
