Bottle, courtesy of fonefan. A clear, dark amber beer with a small, beige to off-white head. Toffee-ish, biscuity and roasted with a fruity touch on the aroma. The flavor is much the same, a nice bitterness added. Quite dry, full-bodied and smooth. Pleasant bitterness in the end. A quite drinkable one, maybe a bit dry actually, but itโs quenching and tasteful. 110415

Cask at the Euston Tap. Rich gold pour with a dense, white head. Nutty aroma with toasted malts and earthy hops. Decent flavor, buttery malts with some herbal, leafy bitters. Medium in body with smooth carbonation. Finishes with a nice sweetness, somewhat fruity with just hints of dry leaves. Not bad.

Cask-conditioned at the Deco Lounge, Cotham Hill, Bristol 8/1/11. Amber with a decent and frothy, off-white head. The earlier review nails this beer on the head - bready, slightly sweet malts, with a hint of fruit and decent, bitter finish. Very quaffable, and good to see this beer is no rebadge of another BBF ale.

Pasteurised bottle. An ok bottled beer which was amber in colour and poured with a slight head. There was some malt in the aroma and the flavour was red fruit with some hops in the finish. The Bristol Beer Factory has improved over time.
