Sample at Kurtkeller 006: Cascade-tastic 01 on 02/21/2014. Pours a reddish-copper color with a medium white head that diminishes steadily. Partial rings of lacing on the glass. Cherries, yeast and oak in the nose. Medium-bodied with a moderately tart cherry character and notes of earthy yeast, vanilla and oak. The finish is fruity with a mildly sour cherry aftertaste. Good all around.
