Bottle, 8%. Weak caramelly aroma. Clear brown colour. Small frothy white head. OK caramelly flavour, some alcohol. Quite clean for a Doppelbock, but by no means inferior to some of the German ones.

Simply Drinks, Oxton, Birkenhead. Dark ruby pour with a decent creamy off white head. Caramel malt aroma with some dark fruit. Flavour was on the sweet side and had more od the same. I’m not the biggest fan of this style, but I think the decent alco hit is this beers saving grace.
