bottle. clear amber, smooth huge offwhite head. bitter, slightly metallic, slightly herbal, slightly flowery, slightly fruity aroma. A bit strange for a pilsener. nice flavor, balanced, slightly bitter, flowers and fruits in the aroma is practically gone, only leaves a trace that is actually tasty and fits in well with the rest.malts.

Bottled. An amber beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma has notes of malt and caramel as well as hints of hops. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt and caramel as well as a bit of hops lending it some flowers, leading to a bitter finish.

Bottle. A slightly hazy, golden beer with a small, off-white head. The aroma has a little sourish touch, with citrus and some pale malts sweetness. A bit sweet on the palate, medium body, and a bit over-carbonated too I think. There’s a tiny touch of sourness in the flavor too, but it’s mostly citrusy, piney hops over sweet pale malts. I would like some more bitterness in the beer, especially initially. In the finish it matches the malts quite nicely. A decent pilsner, that’s for sure, and I had no problems finishing the bottle, but I’d rather spend my money on a nice pale ale or IPA if I am to buy beer at this price. No points deducted for value, it’s just not my favorite style. Rating: 5-3-6-3-12-2.9. 100816

Bottle. A clear, golden beer that volcanoed out of the bottle. Small, white head. The aroma is herbal and grassy, slightly doughy. Quite fizzy mouthfeel, medium body fullness. The flavor has some of that same doughy touch, else it’s fruity and slgihtly grassy and herbal. Dry, bitter finish with some doughy notes. Quite nice, but not entirely clean it seems. Still, wouldn’t mind sinking a few on a hot summer day mowing the lawn or something. 101002
